In this scenario about creationism and how students and their parents were reacting, I think that the main form of research would be to interview the student and their opinions of the subject. I would also try to talk to the teacher about what he thought about the situation and if he thought the parents and or students were overreacting on the subject. I would also try to clear up the story with the teacher by asking him whether or not he tought the lesson or just downloaded the powerpoint.
The PowerPoint itself is also an important source. Also district officials. The principal. National experts on the teaching and study of evolution. Open records request to get the email communication between the teacher and the district. 95
